Visual identity for the 48th edition of Ensems, Spain’s longest-running festival of contemporary and newly created music. Held continuously in València since 1978, it has established itself as one of Europe’s leading festivals dedicated to contemporary musical creation.
Since the mid-20th century, many composers have challenged traditional musical notation, finding it inadequate to represent new sounds, instrumental techniques, and new ways of understanding composition. In many cases, these new scores have become genuine graphic objects.
