Pólvora a la vespra is an innovative, experimental pyrotechnic event organized by the Fallas commissions of Maestro Gozalbo, Corona, Pintor Segrelles, and Convento de Jerusalén. It began in 2020 as an alternative proposal that brings simultaneous pyrotechnic displays to different areas of Valencia in the weeks leading up to the Fallas festival. A different kind of fireworks experience—free, exploratory, and bold.
Since its first edition, the event’s poster has been conceived as an authorial piece, screen-printed in two inks on colored papers, in 70 × 100 cm format. An artisanal production that emphasizes the uniqueness of the project.
Rather than literally illustrating fireworks, the poster design reinterprets them through a contemporary graphic language. Each edition offers a new visual approach, exploring codes, forms, and rhythms that align with the event’s spirit: to experiment, surprise, and move forward.
In a field not usually known for innovative graphic communication, these posters stand out as a clear step forward. Year after year, they serve as a bold statement of intent.
